Trustworthy data – the foundation of modern security architectures

In security-related organisations, trustworthy data determines the situation assessment, response speed and resilience. Orchestra links systems in different security zones, translates protocols and ensures the encrypted flow of information from data collection to transmission – auditable, scalable and operable on-premise. This makes the platform a central element on the path to software-defined defence and seamless collaboration in the NATO environment.

Your advantages at a glance

  • NATO-compatible interoperability
Supports open standards (e.g. STANAG, MIP formats) and ensures barrier-free data exchange between national and coalition-wide networks.
  • Software‑defined defence enablement
Container-based, cloud-native architecture enables rapid feature updates and agile capability enhancements – without any system downtime.
  • Protection for classified information
Multi-level security zones, zero-trust concepts, quantum-resistant encryption and seamless audit trails secure the entire lifecycle of sensitive data.
  • Legacy integration without vendor lock-in
Adapter library connects existing systems with modern platforms and avoids proprietary dependencies.
  • DevSecOps & automation
Signed CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code and automated security scans shorten release cycles from years to weeks.
  • Sovereign development & on-site support
Solution ‘Made in Germany’ – with short distances and strictly confidential service processes.

Post-quantum ready: encryption for the next era

The computing power of future quantum computers will break classic public key methods. Orchestra is already addressing this threat today: thanks to crypto-agile architecture, post-quantum algorithms can be seamlessly integrated, combined (‘hybrid mode’) and exchanged as needed. This ensures that confidential data remains protected even in a quantum world – in line with the roadmaps of NIST, BSI and the german cyber strategy.

  • Cryptoagile by design
Integration layer allows rapid transition from current methods to PQC algorithms without having to redevelop services.
  • Hybrid PQC configuration
Combination of classic and post-quantum cryptography ensures seamless transition and backward-compatible security.
  • 256-bit symmetry & future-ready keys
Orchestra supports extended key lengths and offers policies for quantum-resistant key rotation.
  • Governance & migration path
Inventory of existing crypto components, migration planning and automated rollouts meet the deadlines set by German authorities for 2026.
  • Compliance assurance
Already aligned with upcoming NIST standards – and German specifications such as BSI TR-02102-4.

Your benefits in a security-related environment

Secure Data Integration & Routing

Mediates data streams between specialist systems, sensor networks and management services – with priority routing for critical information and complete protocol translation.

Cross-domain gateway

Controlled exchange of information between networks with different levels of confidentiality; auditable in accordance with national and NATO guidelines.

NATO/MIP Interop Toolkit

Pre-built adapters for STANAG standards (e.g. NGVA) and MIP interfaces accelerate the connection of multinational partner networks and reduce certification efforts.

Checkliste

SDD DevSecOps Pipeline

Signed container images, automated scans and offline update packages for isolated networks (air gap) ensure continuous delivery even in highly secure environments.

Operational Dashboards & Analytics

Consolidates telemetry data in real time, provides clear overviews of situations and supports data-driven decisions – without any cloud constraints.

Resilience & Cyber Defence Suite

Integrated IDS/IPS sensors, distributed logs and self-healing cluster structure increase operational security against cyber threats.

Orchestra & Software‑Defined Defence

Software-Defined Defence requires open, modular architectures and flexible integration layers. Orchestra brings heterogeneous legacy systems and modern microservices onto a common data layer, provides reusable integration modules and thus promotes digital sovereignty in German-speaking countries.

Typical application scenarios:
  • Secure information exchange between authorities
Orchestra connects specialist procedures from different departments and enables rule-based, encrypted data exchange in accordance with VS-NfD.
  • Hybrid cloud integration layer
Data from private clouds, edge nodes and on-premise systems is orchestrated without relinquishing control over sensitive information.
  • Multi-domain operations centre
Real-time aggregation of situation and sensor data from land, air and cyber domains for a consolidated situation picture – completely without proprietary gateways.
  • Legacy data migration
Historical data (operational, logistical, personnel) from proprietary systems is automatically extracted, standardised and transferred to modern platforms. Orchestra handles format mapping and validation rules and generates a complete audit trail for each migrated data unit – securely, traceably and without interrupting ongoing operations.
  • Air-gap-compliant updates
Signed update packages are checked offline and activated in isolated networks – ideal for high-security data centres or closed government networks.
