soffico GmbH is a project partner in the Fraunhofer research project AWA
soffico GmbH is participating as a project partner in the Agentic Work Automation (AWA) research project initiated by the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology FIT. The project, which is funded by the Free State of Bavaria with around 941,000 euros, aims to promote the use of AI-based multi-agent systems (MAS) for the automation of complex knowledge-based work processes.
The AWA project develops practical reference and decision-making models as well as software libraries for the effective orchestration of such MAS. In the future, these systems will enable companies to automatically process unstructured data, make decisions and interact efficiently with human actors.
As an experienced provider of low-code data integration solutions, soffico is contributing its technical expertise to the project. The focus is on the use of artificial intelligence in internal, knowledge-intensive administrative processes. The aim is to further increase operational efficiency and leverage new potential in internal process design with the help of intelligent automation.
We are delighted to be part of this pioneering research project. Combining AI and multi-agent technology with our Orchestra integration platform opens up new ways of not only digitising administrative knowledge work, but also making it truly intelligent.
Strong partners in the project consortium
In addition to soffico GmbH, Ancud IT-Beratung GmbH, DATEV eG and Brauerei Gebr. Maisel GmbH & Co. KG are also part of the project consortium. The project is managed by Fraunhofer FIT, the Business Informatics division in Augsburg.
By funding the AWA project, the Bavarian Research Foundation is sending a strong signal for innovation and business-oriented research in the Free State – in line with the Bavarian High-Tech Agenda.
