Four days full of innovation, exchange and pure digitalisation: automatica 2025 in Munich from 24 to 27 June provided the perfect stage for soffico GmbH to show how smart data integration is driving the automation industry forward – and to set an important strategic milestone: The new partnership with KUKA Digital was presented to the public for the first time at the trade fair and met with great interest from trade visitors.

At the joint stand of ‘bayme vbm – Die bayerischen Metall- und Elektro-Arbeitgeber’ (Hall A5, Stand 328), soffico presented itself together with strong partners under the motto ‘Smart Industry Solutions – Made in Bavaria’. The focus of the trade fair appearance was Orchestra, soffico’s low-code data integration platform, which supports companies in achieving digital sovereignty and making complex IT/OT processes simple, economical and scalable.

soffico presented specific integration solutions for data rooms such as Catena-X and Factory-X and illustrated how connectivity can become a real competitive advantage, especially for SMEs. Regulatory requirements – such as those relating to the digital product passport or the carbon footprint – can also be implemented easily and efficiently with Orchestra.

Strategic partnership with KUKA Digital: A strong signal from Augsburg

automatica also served as the stage for the public announcement of the new partnership with Augsburg-based automation company KUKA Digital. The aim of the strategic collaboration is to jointly drive forward the digitalisation of industrial processes with AI-supported data intelligence solutions.

The centrepiece of this cooperation is the combination of the powerful analytics and AI technologies from Device Insight – KUKA’s digital subsidiary – with our flexible Orchestra integration platform. Together, soffico and KUKA Digital enable simple, fast and scalable data exchange across system boundaries – a decisive lever on the way to the ‘Data Driven Factory’.

Highlights of the trade fair appearance:

Practical use cases for the automation industry
With live demos and real-life application examples, soffico showed how automation solutions with Orchestra can be seamlessly integrated into existing IT and OT structures. Special attention was paid to data flows along the entire value chain – from the machine to the cloud.

Connectivity made easy – even for SMEs
Whether machine or plant data, edge devices or MES systems: Orchestra enables fast and efficient integration thanks to low-code approaches and AI-supported data mapping. This makes the path to Industry 4.0 realistically plannable and affordable, especially for small and medium-sized companies.

Orchestra 5.0: New tools for new challenges
The latest version of the platform was presented with the new ‘Solution Hub’ and the ‘Orchestra Designer’ – a real highlight for visitors looking for scalable solutions for dynamic markets. Even without in-depth IT expertise, integration solutions are now even easier to create, maintain and reuse.

Strong together – with strong partners
At the bayme vbm joint stand, soffico was part of a committed network of innovative companies, including Andreas KARL GmbH & Co. KG, BotCraft, dmc-smartsystems GmbH, DTS Systeme GmbH, FORMRISE, NISAR Autonomy GmbH, RIBE Automation GmbH und S&B Automotive Engineering GmbH & Co. KG, Sioux Technologies and Teufel Prototypen GmbH.

The positive response at the trade fair emphasises that Orchestra is more than just an integration platform – it is a key to digital resilience, efficiency and competitiveness. With KUKA Digital as a strategic partner, this potential is now being realised in an even more targeted manner – for the industry of tomorrow.

automatica has shown: Digitalisation doesn’t have to be complicated. With Orchestra, we enable connectivity that has a direct impact – a decisive advantage for small and medium-sized companies, but also for large companies that want to act confidently and future-proof even in volatile times.
